Yesterday I competed in the renowned Noosa triathlon and it definitely lived up to all my expectations. It was not only a beautiful location to have a triathlon but the atmosphere was awesome.
The Noosa tri would have to be one of the most challenging triathlons I've done in terms of the conditions I had to race in. Especially the choppy swim and hot and humid run, but these experiences that test the mind and body are exactly why I signed up to this sport.
Ended up placing 5th out of 40 athletes with a time of 2hrs and 21 minutes. Overall great weekend spent with family and friends.
